Strange Love Coffee

In Strange Love Coffee, the first mood-altering cafe in North America, you can buy rare ingredients and your daily cup of coffee. Classic blends or adventurous, single-origin coffee with exotic flavours – you choose.

According to their website, it all started with the name Strange Love, formed at the end of 2016. Their store itself is a mix of graphics, prints, music, designs and plants all in one space.

Balzac’s Distillery District

Among various boutiques and food shops there is Balzac’s Coffee Roasters. This Parisian style cafe offers various coffee blends for every taste. In addition to coffee you can find here tea, mugs, apparel, brewers and more.

As stated on their website, Balzac’s has transformed the circa 1895 Pump House into a two storey café. A giant Vaudeville chandelier casts a soft glow for sitting back and watching the bustling activity of this unique district.

Fahrenheit Coffee

Opened in 2011 Fahrenheit Coffee is voted as the Best Speciality Coffee House in Toronto. They offer three different espresso origins which are expertly crafted to provide you with your favorite beverage.

They also host barista classes. As stated on the website, the workshop runs approximately 4 hours and encompasses a very hands-on approach to dialling-in espresso as well as teaching a fail-proof method to micro-foam. The class concludes with the basics of latte art and machine maintenance.
