Looking for a safe and fun place to walk your dog and not get bored yourself? Visit Cedarvale Park. Here you will find a family friendly dog area, several outdoor tennis courts, sport fields and more for you and your family.

As stated on the website, for a little fun on a sunny summer day there is a splash pad and playground for children to enjoy. Park visitors can make use of the outdoor fitness equipment installed at the south end of the ravine near Heath Street.

Coronation Park Off-Leash Dog Park

There is an amazing off leash dog park at the east of Ontario Place. Surrounded by oaks and a grove of maple trees Coronation Park offers a great place to spend a day with family and your dog.

As stated on their website, there is also a World War II memorial a few meters to the east. Coronation Park has three softball diamonds and a dog off-leash area. It is a beautiful spot to sit along the shoreline of Lake Ontario and enjoy a picnic on a warm summer day.

Sherwood Park

Sherwood Park is a picturesque wooded park with several wading pools, walking trails, picnic areas and a large playground. With a large fenced off dogs off-leash area it offers a great place where you can spend some quality time.

As stated on the website, their wading pools are located downhill from the park entrance and are spacious with several spray features for all to enjoy.

Grange Park Dog Off-Leash Area

In the heart of the Grange Park there is a perfect dogs off-leash area. It’s a family friendly, welcoming and accessible park with versatile spaces for everybody.

According to the website, the large lawn in the middle of the park attracts spontaneous bouts of soccer, Frisbee playing, catch and croquet. The large trees provide a cool and quiet spot to read, snack and snooze during hot summer days.
