Glen Eden

Glen Eden offers family-friendly activities year round. Here you can practice in skiing, for snowboarders there is a fully-equipped terrain park. And if you are just thinking about skiing Glen Eden provides you with lessons for all ages and skill-levels.

As stated on their website, this park has an area of 3.97 square kilometres and contains Lake Kelso which was built for flood control of Sixteen Mile Creek.

Kawartha Nordic Ski Club

Kawartha Nordic Ski Club is another place to visit for winter sports fans. This resort was founded in 1976 and today it offers 46 kilometers of both classic and skate trails, and 9 kilometers of snowshoe trails through scenic wilderness.

As stated on the website, Kawartha Nordic owns 350 acres of land just north of Haultain and holds a land use permit for our remaining trails on crown land. Kawartha Nordic is a not-for-profit organization, governed by a volunteer board of directors, and operated by several seasonal staff and numerous volunteers.

Batawa Ski Hill

The history of Batawa Ski Hill resort started in 1959 from a volunteer group of ski enthusiasts. Today it offers nine runs, from novice to experienced, including a terrain park with assorted rails, boxes, jibs and jumps.

According to their website, Batawa Ski Hill is located in a convenient drive from Toronto or Kingston, and a short drive from many communities in the Quinte Region, including Belleville, Campbellford, Cobourg, Madoc and Prince Edward County.
